Reading about some daft bint who drove smack into the back of a stationary car and blames the fact on being distracted by someone filming her !!!

Really? Are you sure? I believe that its correct name is 'overtaking lane'. Youll find two on a motorway. People who refer to the 'fast lane' and the 'slow lane' usually hog the middle lane, in my experience.....

woman who was badly injured in a motorway collision last night criticised website YouTube for showing footage of the crash.
Carol Van Heerden was hospitalised for a week after her Mercedes ploughed into a Ford Mondeo broken down in the fast lane of the M55 in Lancashire.
The smash was filmed by an onlooker on the hard shoulder - which led Carol to speculate it may have been caused on purpose. And although police have ruled out any "staging", she claims she was distracted by seeing someone using the camera.

im confused.
a car was stationery in the "fast" lane,she ploughed into it,ANYONE could of ploughed into it, it was fecking stationery and she was doing like 80 mph !!!!
alot of people wouldnt of known it had stopped and so she`s a daft fat cow for this ????

She was probably looking at the scum on the side of the motorway.
Think! If she was doing 90ish in not the greatest of visibility, then spots some clowns filming at the side of the motorway.... It only takes a second or two.

My take on it is that it was the owner of the broken down car doing the filming.. and he tracked the camera onto the blue merc because he could see it wasn't slowing down or moving over.. and it did what he expected... Ploughed into his car..

another look on it,the bloke who broke down is also a tvvat,i mean,who breaks down in the fast lane, ? idiot.
if you conk out,u change lanes in neutral as ur still coastin at 60ish and move to the hard shoulder,u dont just stop in lane 3 !!!
if he broke down in stopped traffic,while its still stopped, when it slowly gets goin,u push the car to hard shoulder

And your telling me if you were frapping it down the outside lane and your cambelt let go you'ed be happy to coast accross 2 lanes of fast moving traffic at much slower speeds? OKKKKKKKKKKKK..

What IS interesting to note is that none of the cars that were running in all 3 lanes took any major avoiding action and the car in lane 2 was collected by the merc, so something a bit strange is going on there I think. I wonder if the car in lane 3 had any HWL's on? Hard to tell from the clip. Witness statements will be interesting to read!
