There is nothing on there I would consider cool.
Seems that lot was made up by surveying a load of geeky techoids who are yet to progress mentally from their days in computer class at school during their early teens. Geeky techoids aren't cool, so what they think is cool is quite the reverse
1. A badly made car that uses a mish mash of parts salvaged from other maker's parts bin isn't cool. Iconised by James Bond - and his cringeworthy one liners - not cool. Even in the 60's they used Jaguar door handles....and they still do now! Now as an alternative.. Vanwall GPR V12 is cool. Or if one wants to be more practical; a Mark X Jag.
2 iPod. Geek! Pure and simple. Reel to Reel tape player, now that's cool. Proof is there is one in Pulp fiction.
3. Youtube, again Geek! Coolness is not sat at a computer watching videos of people pratting about.
4. Bang and Olufsen. Only cool for its looks back in 1983. The modern stuff is so passé
5. Google isn't cool, Google Earth is slighty cool; but only because you can use it to look in celebrities back gardens and see what is in area 51, as well as the giant wilf the schoolkids painted on the roof of their school.
6. Playstation; yet ANOTHER console. Only the first popular ones were cool (Atari 2600), anything after is yet another box that you can play games on. Wii on the otherhand is a whole new ball game. Anyhoo...it's still geeky.
7. Apple; A company that tries to be different for the sake sof it. Non conforming is great if there is any point to it, otherwise its just a pain in the ****. Anyhoo; Computers...Geek!
8. Agent Provocateur, now lingerie is not cool. Its on the same lines as sniffing women's underwear. What goes into the underwear "can" be cool, drooling over it, however, isn't.
9. Nintendo a company that keep rehashing Super Mario and keeps pushing cuddly wuddly games without blood guts or violent epiletic inducing scenes - boring. Credit for Wii, no credit for the games on it (thus far). Oh, and Geeky!
10. Virgn Atlantic: Cool is most certainly is not some corperation owned by a bloke with beard and flys tin cans that are rehashed 40year old designs. Vulcun or Concorde is cool, a Virgin Atlantic plane with the most uncomfortable Recaro branded seats I have ever placed my **** on will never be cool. If virgin were to be cool, they'd make their own version of Concorde...now that would stick two fingers up at BA

12. Ducati: only cool if your a Power ranger: If you want a cool bike - how about a MV Agusta F4
13. eBay: How can a site full of scallies selling knocked off goods, commiting fraud and ripping people off be cool?
14. Rolex: An otentatious watch will never be cool. Now, Bell & Ross watches are cool.
15. Tate Modern; Artist don't "get" cool. Art appreciators are just mere sheep. Sheep aren't cool.
16. Prada buying cool clothes will not make that person cool. Vanity is not cool.
17. Lamborghini : Still at school? Yes? Ok Cool. If your over 20...grow up.
18. Green & Blacks: Lentil muchers are not cool.
19. iTunes : see iPOd/Apple
20. Amazon; What's cooler; shopping on-line, or shopping in the local town high street? Answer Neither. But at least with the latter you get out more...unlike the people who came up with the results for this servey.

WTF is there any internet sites in there anyway and how do they work this sh*t out. I mean is it bassed on purely image/branding. Cause if it is then Youtube, Google are some of the most boring websites I've ever seen????? I don't get it.

I'd take issue with only one point, the MV Agusta F4 isn't cool, achingly beautiful yes, but not cool

That list is dumb.. obviously thrown together by someone who thinks they're hip and cool, but doesn't really know better..
for a starters without totally pulling it apart, ipod and and itunes aren't brands they're products of Apple (the real brand).. arguably brand might be applicable to itunes, but for me I'd consider Apple to be the brand.

I've got some of the stuff on that list, does that make me cool? Unfortunately it's not the Aston or Lambo

iPod and iTunes are products, not brands. Apple deserve their place as they are very cool indeed, but whoever drafted the list needs a slap for not knowing the difference.

2. LPs and turntables are now cool, more so than iPods - although the Touch is very cool.
10. Narcs are never, ever cool. Singapore with it's A380 is cool.
14. IWC is cool. Bell & Ross is geeky.
18. Green & Blacks - 100% owned by Cadburys - totally uncool and not even lentil munchers. Although it is quite cool how deluded they are by not realising it's owned by Cadburys.

Nothing geeky is cool for more than five minutes. A cool car is one that no one else can get and a cool bike is a ten years old honda blackbird with 50k miles of round the world traveling on the clock, never been washed and still beats the ******* power rangers when you race. Thats cool.
Cool watches come from Tokyo flash Ulysse Nardin and Vacheron constantin. NO watch without a minute repeater, tourbillon movement and perpetual calendar can be cool but if you know that your watch has a tourbillon then you cannot be cool.

Remember the cool board on TG, and Clarkson accepting that the new GT40 was not cool as a guy in the audience said "because you've got one" - JC said "Meeting the other owners was like attending a Rod Stewart reunion".
