What can you do to stop Malicious calls & texts to your mobile?? I have the number, too thick to use 141 I guess!!!! Hangs up when I call to tell whoever to f**k off!

My Wife had a similar problem.
Reported it to Orange (not too helpful), Vodafone, where the calls originated, (even less helpful) and to the Police. The Police were very helpful, but didn't seem to do much. However, the calls did seem to stop very quickly after it was reported, so they must have done something.

I had exactly the same problem, started off "who's this" type text messages, started getting over 20 a day, not good as I was on 24*7 on call with text messaging to my phone from system problems at work
Eventually just ignored them all, didn't answer any messages, all phone calls were dropped when I knew it was the prangster...they soon got bored, took a week or so mind.
My advise is to ignore them and hope they grow up and get a life

Phone them claiming to be the police. Say their behaviour has been reported and their phone is being monitored. If they are too dozy to use 141 this will probably scare the bejasus out of them

Moderator hat on.
For the benefit of Scoobynet, can I just point out that impersonating a police officer is illegal and cannot be condoned.

Decided to change me number, but had to report it to the police to get my phone provider to do it free of charge. Now I have to go and fill out the forms down the cop shop!
