World population - - 7 Billion or thereabouts
Number of countries - 192/194 depending on who you talk to.

It's like me asking, say, 10 members of Scoobynet whether they have had a Burger King or McDonalds in the last week, and then proclaiming the result as "90% OF BRITAINS EACH JUNK FOOD ONCE A WEEK!!!!!"

As for the state controlled BBC, it has lost almost all credibility in the last few years...

Its called a sample and reflects public opinion.

Don't tell me you think every person in the UK also has a box that tells TV companies viewing figures. Again, its sample based, all surveys are. If they tried to get everyone, **** you'd have one survey about every 50 years!!
