Default Have we any compressor engineers on here?

I have a small hydro vane compressor that has so called be serviced recently but its leaking air from one part and I don’t think it should my self can any one help me with this please

My compressor was leaking from a joint when I bought it. It's possible they undid some during the service and didn't reconnect properly. Undo the suspect joint, wrap with Plumbers tape, forgotten the proper name and re-connect, should fix it

I believe PTFE tape is what Olly is on about, should do the job.

its not actually a joint but more like a part but iv never seen one of these parts before. its like 18 inch of gray wast pipe around the pipe after the compressor bit

Can you take a picture? It sounds like the pipe from the pump to the compressor tank which is usually wrapped with metal fins to disipate heat.

Yes, not really a newbie, PTFE tape - it's me age ya know!
