capital gains tax
can anyone advise?
i have a shop, in which we let out,
i can't decide to remortgage it (interest at the moment is just under 10% )
or sell it, we still owe a tad bit under £60k,
its valued approx £100k
if we sell it how do we minimise capital gains tax
obviously i heard if we reinvest it, then we don't have to pay any

I think you are referring to " rollover relief " whereby you roll the capital gain over into something else . I don't think property investment qualifies , I believe it normally has to be shares in a company which has a qualifying trade.Ti me to consult an accountant?
