Fabulous Pubs and Sad Losses
Let's hear it for all the fabulous local pubs - and wtf happened to the others?!
Great pub - "The Village Hall" in Chalfont St Peter - awesome food, lovely place to sit, excellent beer and wine and the best bar staff ever!
WTF happened to "The Old Trout" in Windsor???!!!! Used to be wierd, wonderful, wacky and fun. Then became a Pheonix Firkin clone and is now "Browns" - over priced, toffee nosed, posey nonsense!
Sadly we moved away from The Village Hall and now live in Hampshire, and have yet to find anything that comes close. Only "pub" within walking distance is a "Brewers Fayre" place where you're only allowed to sit outside on a nice day if you're eating - and they only serve full meals - no snacks/ chips etc.

Used to be called the Farmers Arms (I think....) Anyway it's right at the top of Goldhill Common. Got taken over about 4 years ago. Wonderful place....
