Aich for me too. If you say Haich in N'orn Iron is means you are a fenian.

I think you'll find southerners who can't even say "Half" properly will say "Aich"

Normal people say "Haich", as "H" doesn't begin with "A"

Arf a pint of Arp please Governor
(Southerenrs only drink Half's - sorry Arfs, as the bubbles from a full pint makes the feel dizzy)

This is the problem I think. People think that its just lazy not pronouncing the h at the beginning, but thats not the case. Do you pronounce the letter L 'lell'? Didn't think so.

'Feff'? 'Memm'? Theres a few but only 'AICH' seems to be the one that divides

I take it in this dispute, you're the one saying "Aich"?

You're wrong, your mates correct

Youd pronounce the 'h' if you were refering to the spelling of a word containing the letter

As in "How much did we pay you last year Aitch?"

Just a helpful contribution

Just say the alphabet out loud, and it'll become very clear which way you pronounce it.
I say 'aitch', its sounds really odd saying the alphabet saying 'haitch'

Correct. I've only really noticed people from England say haitch. That's not criticism btw, just an observation.
