I think you'll find southerners who can't even say "Half" properly will say "Aich"
Normal people say "Haich", as "H" doesn't begin with "A"

(Southerenrs only drink Half's - sorry Arfs, as the bubbles from a full pint makes the feel dizzy)

Just say the alphabet out loud, and it'll become very clear which way you pronounce it.
I say 'aitch', its sounds really odd saying the alphabet saying 'haitch'
