Default Applying for the London Marathon

Morning

I want to apply for the 2008 london marathon.

You can apply online or by post.

Online only have 2000 places and you wont know if your successful till Nov. I'm not sure how many places are available via post.

I have been given an application form from a friend so I can apply by post.

Which would you suggest I do? You can't do both.

Postal, I should imagine more and more people apply via the internet now and that number will only grow. Alot more chance via post IMO.

Or if you're happy to do it for charity, check out some of their websites - they often offer guaranteed entries for people raisind money.

I did it many moons ago ('97) and loved every painful step of it!

Good luck!

Do you have to raise alot of money for charity?

Somone told me you have to raise in the thousands, though I would be aiming for this I'm not sure I would make it. (Alot of tight mates)

Just checked this one at random:

Starlight Children's Foundation

They're looking for just over £1600 - so not all that much really.
