VIP Package to include the new V-Box, 20meg broadband, free national and local phone calls 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and a second box for the bedroom, all movie channels and sports channels for £85 a month our monthly bill was coming in about a £100 and that was without movie channels and only 4 Meg broadband.

Free calls for just £85 a month ...

That aside £85 sounds a lot to me to watch TV and surf tinterweb.

£30 a month for me 6.5MB broadband (max of the exchange) TV license, line rental and inclusive evening and weekend calls.

£50 to get some movie channels seems expensive to me but I'm sure there's more to it than that.

If you're with Virgin, then no, it isn't good value for money, £5 a year would be too much for the crap service you get from them!

I tried to leave Virgin the other day, currently I have :

1x V+ box
All channels bar movies+sport
4mb Broadband
Telephone line
Free evening weekend calls

When I said Im going to Sky he said how about if give you all what you have now for £45?

Had to sign for another year but I thought it was a good deal

i work for sky as a software tester. £85 is a bit much, you shoul have joined sky as you get all three (Sky tv, phone calls and internet) for a lot less. and you can create youre own pacage. Also you dont get 24 and lost on virgin anymore.

I pay £15 a month on Virgin and get the 4MB broad band and the Large TV package, not bad really.

Sky want far too much per month for the same stuff. Dont watch Lost or 24 so not bothered about that.
