What is this annoying Adobe flash player thingy, that keeps begging to be down loaded. Do i need it, and what are the perils of having it?

You need it for websites that use Flash (an increasing amount) and it is pretty much peril-free

Just bewarned to UNCHECK the "download google tool bar" option. Otherwise it will download and install it by default...Crafty buggers

Don't want spyware cluttering and slowing down your computer, now , do you?
