Is there a law regarding keeping chickens? i have a fairly large garden with apple tree's, huge bushe's all round and a lot of sheltered area. I want some chickens for my dogs to practice on...........no i'm joking. my lads want a couple of bantams and some hens. we wont have bother with fox's because of the dogs. but are they dangerous to keep near dogs, disease etc.. or is it ok.

It depends on your deeds -- mine has a convenant explicitly stopping me having goats, sheep, chickens and cows.

I'm still looking at the LLamas of course ..

The livestock laws are pretty specific about the misuse of apostrophes, I'm afraid.
