Thumbs up Mark Radcliffe...R2..

Excellent stuff, brilliant rapport with his co-host Liza Tarbuck aswell, was laughing today at the Prince spotting texts

I'd listen to 2 all the time if they did a shake up and got him in full time. And binned that **** Wogan, he needs throwing off Beachy Head

Mark and Lard are a bit too daft for R2 !

And Wogan..we'll agree to disagree. Personally I can't wait till he's dead, he's a kite marked **** to BS5628 !

Mark and Lard what a combo Laughed till I cried at their antics on R1 especially their spoofs of Jerry Springer and telephone wind ups. Agree with Chip him (Mark) and Liza (not Lisa ) have a great rapport.

He's alright is Jezza, although a political slot he often injects some wicked humour into it, especially when interviewing guests.

Mark and Lard were far and away the best thing ever to grace R1.

I heard Mark today and he's still pretty good, if more sedate.

Not a patch on the old days.

It's time to realise you're getting on when you can't stand R1 anymore

The 'station' is just a frequency range. The station unfortunately, is Sara ***, Chris Moyles et al.

I'm growing out of it myself...

Dom's bald, Rachel has big ****, Carrie's going out with a soldier......repeat untill dead, or 88-91 sets in

Their target audience is something like 15 - 23, I think. I'm a 'couple' of years out of that now

I don't mind the bloke that does the weekday drivetime show - he's quite whitty.

***, Moyles Vernon 'kin Kay and the rest are dire.

Jo Whiley is palatable. Edith Bowman hmmm undecided to be honest. I recall Mark and Lard had their own band The Mighty Horse.

Ah .. The Mighty Horse, I went to see `em in Leeds, they had a dodgy Spice Girls tributeband as support, and Peter Kaye too

Lard does a bit on 6 music, he`s alright.

Bring back Mark and LArd? WTFAYGOA?!?

Did any of you honestly realise that their daily diatribe of nitter natter with a non-hit song by Cornershop on a continual loop in the background, saying the same crap day in day out, Shirehorse this Shirhorse that was entertaining? . They put *** in the shadows of radio shyteness...and thats saying something. Chappers Chappers Chappers. Shut up you gobby cow

Mark has actually rdeemed himself on R2 as a half decent DJ. So don't even start to think that Mark and Lard were any good...they were responsible for re-tuning the workshop radio from Radio one to a commercial radio station (thats a big thing; as it requires getting the ladders out to reach the top shelf where Hi-Fi is)...listening to adverts was better than that tosh.

Currently on Radio 2. Has been for about 5 years now Although its getting Radio one-ish by the day...especially Steve Wright.

You've crossed the line this time. You've gone too far. Outside now - this needs sorting
Radcliffe can have his afternoon slot but he is NOT having King Wogans rightful place on primetime radio

Stop it.

anyway...

If you normally have Edith Bowman turning your brain to soggy cornflakes of an afternoon, give Mark Radcliffe a whirl, he's on at 2

Last Day today, Steve Wright's back next week

Staurt Maconie also covered the Chris Evans slot, top replacement. If The Togmeister pops his clogs Evans would be the man. Self righteous egotist Moyles figures would plummet.
