Totally the opposite. I listen to Steve Wright if I'm out in the motor from 2pm but this week I tuned in for a while and found myself feeling embarrassed with the crap they were spouting and the general run of the show. Normally I like Liza Tarbuck but christ was she painful, and then that bloke sounds like a right amateur.

Gotta agree, Mark and Liza are pretty good
Don't mind if Wogan went as long as they still did the Janet and John stories

The best DJ double-act imho were Pete 'n' Geoff from Virgin Radio ( before it went gash)....soooo funny for a drive home

Somebody interesting and entertaining would be a start. Perhaps somebody who didn't sound like Norman Wisdom too.

Well I listened to them at w*rk today, whilst constructing some high-quality free-standing oak kitchen units, and I laughed quite a lot.

I'm North of Watford, so that's blown that theory.

It's the very sheltered lives they lead and entertainment for them hasn't moved on much since before the wars.

Scott Mills can be funny although his assistant Laura needs shooting for the fact she giggles at everything Mills said. Zane Low or watever his name is is feking annoying. Don't listen to Radio 2 yet as haven't grown out of Radio 1 but if and when I do Wogan will be the show I listen to
What has surpassed them in the sh!te stakes then? They were the biggest load of sh!te you heard on R1 so something sh!tter must have come along.

They put *** in the shadows of radio shyteness...and thats saying something. Chappers Chappers Chappers. Shut up you gobby cow

Mark has actually rdeemed himself on R2 as a half decent DJ. So don't even start to think that Mark and Lard were any good...they were responsible for re-tuning the workshop radio from Radio one to a commercial radio station (thats a big thing; as it requires getting the ladders out to reach the top shelf where Hi-Fi is)...listening to adverts was better than that tosh.

Currently on Radio 2. Has been for about 5 years now Although its getting Radio one-ish by the day...especially Steve Wright.

Old thread alert!

LMAO I can't belive I posted that

On form, and slightly tipsy I suspect
