Default Career advice (for the wife)

My wife currently makes curtains and blinds, part time and looks after the kids, it doesn't pay much considering the skill involved so she is looking to do something else at some point.

Still a few years of kids being dependent, youngest is eight but in say four years he will be getting the bus to school and she wont have to collect every night, so that gives a few years to train in something new and hopefully more lucrative, I am currently earning good money but its a lot of pressure being the only breadwinner adn who is to say it will last.

So any (clean) suggestions for work that will fit around school holidays and the family commitments in general and pay a reasonable amount, as opposed to minimum wage.

Well she is pretty intelligent (IQ 134) and is pretty good at logistics, you need to be when you have kids, good at sewing, hopeless with computers, has always worked in the clothing/curtain type trade.

Does she do it for a company or private work?

Might earn a lot more if she setup on her own?
