aprox 3 seconds slower per stage, ok soi thats **** all lol, but, mdoern rally cars are slioght bit more advanced than group b rally cars were they were all brute power and little finesse, ok perhaps thast being harsh, but its kinda the truth. 600bhp audi anyone?
but this is also going back what, 20 years? does make you wonder what group b would be like if it had been left to run its course

The Audi sounded a hell of a lot nicer though!

tbh while i agree its not good, when i see videos of the group b spectators i think along the same line as the drivers.
when a car with 600bhp going 100mph goes through a crowd of people and they part to let it through then join again i have to think about how sain they are.
Don't think anyone who goes to watch any form of mtorsport doesn't know they are taking a risk, reducing the risks are good, but stopping? come on y should i have to do with out, when i am prepared to take that risk, just because someone is such a ***** they can't let others do what they want?

To be fair in rallies like Portugal, the spectators 'parted' for the cars and then joined together again afterwards right up into the early 90's, so it wasn't just an 80's and Group B thing...spectating was nowhere near as closely marshalled (arguably ) as it is nowadays.
Spectators should know the risks involved with attending a rally, but if you think from the event organisers point of view, they don't really want people dying every rally!

i agree its bad, but tbh the spectators arn't stupid, they know the risks, as long as the event organisers warn them to make sure, and leave the road clear then the rest is up to themselves
