Decent Greek Island holiday destinations?
Looking at going to one of the greek islands for a bit of a lads holiday (be a few 20-somethings) 
The plan is to find somewhere in Greece (or similar, maybe Crete etc) which is not a complete chavfest, but obviously still with some good night life, and of course lots of totty
Anyone recommend anywhere, or have any experiences? Seems to be lots of flights to Kos so this could be an option? Anyone been?

avoid thassos.
i went there for 2 weesk with mrs g a few years ago. lovely island, very relaxing; rep was great - she was very helpful (introduced us to lots of locals without the old "trip" sales thing)...then two dopey women from south london turned up and complained there was no "night life". hadn't bothered to read about where they had booked to go and then spent 7 night bitching about the place. they thought "greece" was "greece". i told them to go to benidorm next time

the problems with Zante is the airport is as big as the dancefloor in your local pub, its not a problem arriving, just the journey home when its a pain in the ***, the main street sticks, other than that its not a bad spot, been twice

Kos is great good night life in the town, We stay in Kardamena, plenty of good bars and clubs going back again in September

If you want somewhere thats not Chav fest then stay away from Zante IMO, also avoid Falaraki. You'll struggle to find clubbing places in Greece that aint full of little tramps. Id probably consider Rhodes but go further down the coast to Lindos. Its not a bad place, plenty of street partying going on aswell

Kefalonia was nice, but haven't been there for nearly 10 years, so don't know what it's like now. Probably a bit more built up, but no where near as crazy as the Chav Fests.
