There can be only one
For Variety which after all is what the show is about, I think Monkey or BarWizards should win
I personally think Paul the Opera singer or Connie will win though
I didnt realise the keyboard player/impressionist was kicked out as he is on the registered sex offenders list, and that Kit Kat Dolls got thrown out cos one of them is/was a prostitute
That would explain all the inconsistencies in the numbers stated that would be through to the semi finals

Seen the monkey guy live at the evening entertainment at this years Mencap rally.
His full show is first class, it also included some adult orientated songs which were absolutely hilarious!
He's a good singer too.

Not really cheating, its on his profile on ITV's website, so they are aware of his background
As is the same with all the other acts that were in the final, again with the possible exception of Connie
The BarWizards travel the world doing their act, it is their full time profession

I hate all that Pop Idol and X-factor crap but I must admit I enjoyed this show.
It was more about what TV entertainment used to be about but with the modern 'lets ring as much money out of this as we can!'
I couldn't abide the musical kid. She came across as the usual obnoxious Jnr 'lovey' type and I have no doubt she has done numerous pantos and musicals already.
That little 6 year old, gap toothed, cutesy-wootsie **** doesn't wash with me I'm affraid. Yes she was very good for her age but the 'ahh, she's only 6 you know' brigade were out in force when voting started.
The 'urban dancers' were all very good and it's good to see kids try and better themselves but their performance tonight was lackluster in comparison to their others.
The bar staff were good but not really a stage show. Generation game perhaps but not Royal Variety.
The Monkey was funny! A very good act but tonight he did the very same as his first act and because you'd seen it before it didn't have the same wow factor as it were.
The fat guy with the f'cked up teeth stood out a mile in the show. Yes he has had training (as I'm sure others there did) but he didn't live off his talent. Wether it's his lack of confidence or the fact he's no oil painting thats hindered him from getting where he should be is now irrelevant. He was brave enough to put himself up there and did a fooking good job in my opinion.
A good show all in (and I see they are going to do the same again next year) but please don't let this be a case for the floodgates to open for Variety Idol and V Factor.

He used to live of his talent until his tumor and motorbike accident, being no oil painting in Opera doesn't really matter just look at Pavarotti
Bessie the musical kid, has done many panto's and theatre shows, the Urban Dancers have performed with Busted Christina and Blue
I enjoyed it as it was different, I thought the auditions were better as some of the really bad acts were worth watching for a laugh
