Removing Quake Arena
#1
Hi !
Hope you all had a great Christmas !
Every so often our work laptops are sent back to the IT dept to be "cleaned up" so they run better. Not sure what goes on but convinced that they check for "non work applications"
If I have Quake installed - can I remove it without leaving a trace ?
Whats the best way ?

From memory you can just go into Control Panel -> Add / Remove Program and remove it.
Next go into its install directory and remove it otherwise the saved games will be left. If you want to do a full job run 'regedit' and search for arena / quake / id etc and remove any references.
