bought something similar on ebay for £45 delivered the other day. sadly, the auction didn't say "not suitable for children under 18 months" as it states on the trailer, so it's gone into storage for a while
loads of cycle paths where i live so ideal for us!

hired one at Dalby forrest the other week, 3 year old not amused. Passed the shop on Sunday - she sees the trailer and runs over and gets in. Aren't kids great!
this is a good price, but the steel ones are heavy. Looked for one with suspension, but you're talking £400+. That's nearly an hours Salary Pete!
I've seen people (well, women) riding on roads with them, with one wheel bouncing up the kerb.
wouldn't take one on the road at all personally, and I've been riding on the road for 25 years.

They are safe enough if the kids in secure - my 8 month old sits in ours beside his 3 year old brother.....they both seem happy enough doing 20mph through the woods

my little girl is now 6mths but she's still a bit small (still in 0-3mths clothes!) so she's not quite ready for it yet. as soon as she is though, we expect to be using the trailer quite a bit for cycling to parents'/grandparents' houses at the weekend. at the moment we walk and thought the trailer would enable us to save a bit of time whilst still not resorting to the use of the car. thought about strapping the car seat in there, but the trailer's not quite deep enough for it to fit safely
