Hi folks,
I am asking about the above as I am need of a specific file that is contained on that CD. I have tried the NT4 version in desperation, but no dice.
The file in question is imagecfg.exe and any relevent-named .dll's that go with it. I am trying to force some cpu affinities onto some of the server apps that I run at home. I am not going anywhere near the office, so that's why I am asking you fine folks!
Thanks,
Nick

Indeed! . My original resource kit does not have it on, neither do the support areas on the Datacenter and Advanced Server CD's despite Micro$haft stating that on thir site.
Going to be forcing all firewall related apps to CPU1 and Dedicated UT server to CPU2, etc......
Got UT serving like a dream now that I have changed the Motherboard and gone dual Athlon1.4. The bandwidth on the ADSL was up and down like a yoyo. Worked OK as a UT server, but with fluctuating Bandwidth, made things awkward at times.
Bandwidth now fixed at 228-231kbps up/450-460kbps down, so a hell of a lot better!
VIA USB sucks!(At least in my experience)
Anyway..........
Thanks,
Nick

Just me being fussy really. I want to ship as many of the boring apps/services offto CPU1 , leaving CPU2 completely free for Game servers, UT, SS2 Demo etc..... and fix them so even though they are not smp capable, they only attach to cpu 1 anyway.
Cheers,
Nick

Cheers to KF and any other soul that went hunting for me.
Sorted it. I thought that the only copy of imagecfg.exe that I could find was on a NT4 Terminal Server CD and it was having none of it. Found another copy on a SBS4.0 CD, not sbs2K, 1k smaller and it worked perfectly!
Thanks again,
Nick
