mrs shoes hurting her
ok spent £45 on sat at meadowhall on a pair of wedge shoes for the mrs. (i had spent nearly £750 on my car so it seemed fair).
theyre wooden soles/heels. but have leather straps that cross her toes.
wore them for the first time today. theyve given her blisters on the tops of her big toes and inside of her feet.
anyone got any tips/ideas on how to soften the leather up to make them more comfy before she wears then again. theres no way in hell theyre going on ebay yet.
i thought the old potato where your foot goes trick may help. used that one when i was at school on my boots and shoes overnight.

Get her to kick you up the 4rse 50 times, very hard, it will soften her feet and then there will be no issue whatsoever.
I'm surprised you didn't pay for her to have shoes tattooed on her feet then you wouldn't have any bother at all.

get some germolene new skin to put on her feet where it rubs, it is abit like nail varnish and a plaster all in one.
you put it on with the little brush and it stings like mad, then when it sets it acts like a plaster and is see-through.
i use it at work when i get cuts etc on my hands, it is waterproff and germproff.
could be worth a go.
the other idea is to fit some cropidety felt (spelling) the felt stuff, that goes into shoes (white colour) and stick this to the leather where it is rubbing.

That's it. Do it overnight, might take a couple of goes, but will soften the leather. It will feel a bit strange when she first wears them, but it will soak in

Mines just bought some shoes, a bag and some other bits, £200 after telling me that an spending 800 quid on a telly (bear in mind who earns the money here) was ridiculous, I kind of hope they hurt a little.

COB, you've had an early warning. Shoes spread to handbags and it just spirals out of control My wife is an addict, daughter catching up fast - found seven pairs in her car's passenger footwell
If she's gonna make an honest man out of you soon, get something about "shoes/handbags £9.95 max" written in to the vows
Richard.
