It will more than likely be lo-fi if you are looking for style over substance

Wall mount and funky and Hi-Fi? sounds like you need to pop down a Bang & Olufsen dealer, don't ask how much it'll cost though

if you have very very very very (you get the point) deep pockets go for bang and olufsen, they are the dogs, but you need lots of money. If however you want something that will give you crystal sound, have a stylish look and not cost you an absolute fortune, i would go for Bose.

They have a great range of systems, ive 2 and cant fault them. I would however love to be able to afford some B&O

Dunno about what amp/speakers you'd want, but how about a Squeezebox as the source ? Using FLAC lossless via wireless you'd have bit-perfect CD streams, plus all the advantages of scrolling through thousands of tracks/artists etc. on the display via the remote.

(Needs a computer somewhere with the music on it of course !)

Always amuses me how people have been conned into thinking B&O gear is any good. Looks great though and I guess that is enough for some people.

Depends what you looking at and what purpose, base model Beosound and Beolabs are in no way audiophile systems, same with Bose AKA "boom for bass" with their domestic stuff. However B&O have style down to a Tee, nice to use too.

Higher end stuff stuff like the Beolab 5 sounds much better, much more funky looking, and a hell of a funky price too Well they should sound good, seeing they are rated at 2000odd watts, you can offset the cost as the amps should be able heat up the room nicely on a cold night
