Dogs and birds
I thought it was bad when I had a cat, with the odd dead bird found in the garden, but now.......
My Dog has killed more birds in the last 12 months than my cat did in the 12 years I had her
I have discovered a birds nest in the top part of my chimnea too, and this rain isnt helping as it brings all the worms in the garden to the surface, so getting quite a few birds in there now
However the dog keeps on catching them, and killing them
Is there any way I can stop him from doing it?
Didnt think dogs normally bothered with birds

Ahh that bring back the memories of my dobbeman bringing some poor blackbird/sparrow that he jumped up and plucked from the air when they flew off the fence as if he was catching a frisbee. They were still alive, and unharmed, just a little stunned.
Arthritus eventually stopped him from doing it
