Not sure if this has been posted before, but a pretty amazing video showing a herd of buffalo fighting back when some lions try to take one of their calfs, also throw in a couple of crocodiles who try to get in on the action:

Edited to add that this does contain some fairly nasty imagery, though nothing graphic, and nothing you can't see on BBC animal prog's!
