Default Anyone use WiiKey in Gloucester?

Any else use WiiKey in Glos? I have installed one, burnt a disc and its verified. It will see the disc and display the front screen of the game but when I click to play it freezes up and I have to cut the power to the machine.

Was hoping someone else would be using WiiKey and has a DVD I can try that is proven to work so I know the Key is working ok.

Cheers,

The Hoff

Can't help - but where did you get it from? Did you install it yourself or find someone local to do it for you???

Interested in getting one...

I got it from a guy on here, but any modchip seller will do it mail order for you.

You need a good broadband connection and a lot of time to get the files.

I work with electronics so installed it myself, a little tricky but its works (...well the boot disk does!). I have got another couple of backups to try tonight, just gotta burn them first.

I have an Wii, what will a wiikey allow me to do?
Does it allow you to play "import" games on your console?

A wiikey will allow you to play games that you have made a 'backup' copy of. It will also allow you to turn off the reigon protetion so you can play games you have bought in the States or Japan.

Search for Wii modchip in google for the full range. Wiikey has been the one that I have heard the best reviews about.
