7.5 tonne lorry
does anybody own or drive or operate one,
i understand you have to have an operators licence,
is it right that the tacho regulations are changing
even basic help appreciated
my firm have bought a new one and we are looking into the regs

How old is the vehicle ?
Loads of news rules, most of them highlighted in the post above.
CPC holder will be required within your company, vehicle will have to be inspected every 6 weeks (average) .... loads more just ask.

I had a look into this. For TV use you didnt need an operators license and the MOT thing every 6 weeks etc. This was since it didnt really carry goods commercially - everything was always left inside the unit. With a bit of luck that might apply to you?
