My accountant is not very helpful as I only pay him for basic accounts. I think I'm capable of asessing the capabilty of anyone giving advice and would treat it accordingly.

How on earth is it 'bigging myself up'????????? The issue could be a matter of a few hundred or few thousand pounds so whats the big deal? How does that imply that I'm loaded? Plenty of people here discuss income tax/mortgages/shares/the economy in general, are they all bigging themselves up?

Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me??

Quote from daddyscooby:

I know it's not the same as Canada or Oz but I'd had enough of England and in Jan moved to Northern Ireland.

Bought land here a couple of years ago with planning pemisson for a resonable sum and went about selling up etc.

Although it's still UK things are totally different and life couldn't be better. Our land now worth four times our buying price and land/ property prices risinig by 37 - 50% PA. Massive amounts of money being spent here.

My life has never been better and I've never been happier...... escape from mainland UK ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO WHO IS BIGGING UP THEN??

Ok ok so you caught me out ......... My reply to you yesterday was sent after a bit of a drinking session with friends.

However the first part about SN probably not the best place for that type of advice is true.

The last part wasn't called for........ sorry
