Halifax VISA credit cards?
Anyone else with the Halifax?
I have had one of their Platinum cashback VISA cards for several years now.
However, according to their online banking website, my card is about to become a Mastercard. Thus, as far as i can tell, it is up to me to notify people of my new card number, i seem to have lost the cashback facility, and i haven't got a clue which account i need to pay to clear this months bill (because my old account is no longer available, and ATMIT i cannot even access my new one)
But i have had no written notification of the changes, or their implications, whatsoever
Very shoddy handling, and time for a strong letter.
Anyone else affected by this change?

Llloyds are doing the same AND charging a random £35 "annual charge"
I rang them up, told them where to stick their "robbery" charge (basically for those that don't use them much and pay them off) and they cancelled the charge.
No such stupidity with HSBC and their (waits for stick) Premier service which I can't recommend highly enough for personal and credit card accounts.

Its not lloyds or halifax that are making the charges its actually visa (I work in this area) hence why the banks are sending out mastercard to avoid this charge for customers. You should always be informed of these changes and so if halifax didnt and just sent you a card that is bad.
