Default AN EBAY EXPERIENCE!

Someone help me. Bought some mirrors off this guy! paid on the 3rd!!!! via paypal. No mirrors 2weeks+ now. He's not bothered. All I ever get is, 'oh will look into it', asked for refund 'you will be refunded today' ! He seems to sell loads of Subaru bits. SO DONT BUY AND SAVE THE HASSLE, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!

I have started a dispute with ebay and paypal, nothing yet. Anything else I can do???

This is the very link of what I bought:
eBay.co.uk: E-Tech F1 Sport Mirrors Subaru Impreza 93-00 (item 250109918178 end time 03-May-07 09:27:04 BST)

Obviously not, judging by the above.

True, but shame a dispute prompted it though.

I'd just like to add, I take back what I said. Peter the guy who I was buying from is lovely guy. He did refund me, I think there was simply a misunderstanding. Also on top of that he sent me small note via post with a small gift (making sure I got the refund). I feel really bad because I posted him on this thread and then sent rude emails.

To conclude. The guy is cool as ice. I am not Just sorry it esclated this far.

So the real ebay experience is:

Everybody expects to get ripped off so when something goes wrong - perhaps the carrier loses the parcel, they assume the worst and don't wait for it to be sorted out. Instead they post messages on internet forums slagging off the seller.

Look at it from a sellers point of view as well. Everybody has been done by a dodgy buyer at some point (trying to claim they haven't received something when they have) so they now investigate before refunding, and that can take a little while.

Nothing personal Harry007 but ebay has a reputation that's much worse than the reality and it's very easy to jump to the wrong conclusion.

I think this problem with mirrors reflects very badly on everyone concerned!
