Yep - but I wonder if it will just lead to a load of useless info from people after a reward ?

Personally I think it's a pretty sad state of affairs that people would have to be bribed in to coming forward with information about a missing 4 year old.

It is touching Pete. A colleague of one of the little girls parents had previously offered £100,000 too...

I think it is very good that this money has been offered in an effort to find that poor little girl.

I somehow think that if it is an act by a paedophile group, that money will not tempt anyone to push their luck by giving information.

I agree, however if it helps then it is worth it.

I am not sure how any right minded person could not come forward with info to help, reward or not.

If I was lucky enough to find her I don't think I could accept a reward. The reward would come in the form of relief knowing she is safe and back with her parents.

I assume we are talking about information from an insider or someone who has information about a professional gang of some sort.

I struggle with this being treated as what seems to be a self gratifying excercise by rich people to jump on the back of a tragedy.
Children have been kidnapped (and found) for years without such public gestures...
The News Of The World donating a few hundred grand so they come across as the "people paper" for example is morally degrading.

Still if it does any good and they payout then fair enough, but I am sure anonymous donations would have been more appropriate...

I'm not convinced of the motives of some of the people who donate, but the fact is if the reward is high enough the people who may suspect somthing but are too scared to do so will be highly tempted by a very large reward, these are the people it is targeted at. and i feel it will work, someone will shop that person for money if its enough, simple as!...
hope it does in this case...
