IIRC correctly wasn't the film canned/put back yonks, due to the fact that much of the trailer/film involved the twin towers ?

That's what I thought. I believe in the trailer it showed the twin towers with a web across it.

Don't think it has been dude, the first trailer had to be editied because a chopper is caught in a web spun between the twin towers. Not sure if it put the movie back as it is still coming out in May.

Ahhh, just checked it out. The twin towers trailer was a teaser, the full trailer has been released which leaves the towers out.

The twin towers scene plays no or very little part in the movie. So apart from a change to the trailer the film is as intended.
