Hello!
I have a directory full of digital pictures - want to make quick website with thumbnails to the pictures - usually do it manually but cant be bothered!!
also would be cool if the program was automated, and changed the size of the original pictures to a less resolution that 2048x.....

I reckon http://www.cxi.org.uk/cars/nbr/index.htm is what you are trying to achieve.
The answer? Arles Image Web Page creator.
Piece of cake...
1) It creates the thumbnails
2) You choose what sort of structure you want for the pages and if the images should be resized.
3) You click a button and it writes all the HTML for you.

Highly recommended.

Didn't have to do anything, just point to the pictures I wanted the program sorted all the files/thumbnails and html I just ftp'd it all up. Easy

ChristianR: agree, but could be a tad OTT
If you have any control over your web server, you could install the CSImageFile component from chestysoft (dodgy name, good DLL).

Hi,
I used ePhotoAlbum from http://www.picturegear.com
My website is at http://www.a-wee-website.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk if you want to check out the results.
Handles automatic sizing of pictures, allows you to add captions etc.
One of the few shareware programs where I have actually forked out to register.
Edited to say, I was just checking that I put in the links correctly, and I have discovered that there are a stack of broken links on my website. Looks like blueyonder are stuffing me about again. Don't let this reflect badly on the software.
Andrew.
