Number plate or not
Is there any reason not to give someone your reg number ??? If your about trying to sell your car ???
Got someone interested from quite a distance and have just asked for the reg number to get an update on an insurance quote. But it just seemed odd to ask me for it for a quote. I have never asked for a number plate before ??

Might be for a HPI check? Some insurance websites ask for the reg number, it makes life easier as the car may be registered in their database from a previous insurer.
