Angry Last Life on Mars next week

Why do the BBC always decide the good series are to go????????????

What are we going to do without the likes of Sam, DCI Gene Hunt and Chris every Tuesday????????????

They had better put something decent on.

Great ending last night (as the temporary DCI was leaving)

Perhaps if they did another series they could reverse it and Hunt could be in a coma and wake up and be part of a 2007police force. A bit of non-PC nowadays would be fun

I knew it was the man in Sam's head from the beginning i recognised the voice i kept saying to my boyfriend it's him!!! I think i might have pissed him off a bit especially at the end when i was right

Gene Hunt is great he has a new saying every week, sometimes so close to the bone too!!!

Just out of interest i went to school with Marshall Lancaster who plays Chris Skelton he still lives locally. Great lad very funny.

The last one next week and Sam and Annie still haven't got it on yet!

Anyway, Philip Glenister was on with Chris Moyles yesterday and he said there was talk of a spin-off. I think it is probably John Simms who is "leaving", he probably doesn't want to be remembered for just one thing...

Enjoyed it again.

I was quite surprised to see that most of the cast read the bedtime stories for kids on Cbeebies!

I think it is a great show spoilt by a tiresome plot device.

DCI Hunt is great and would make a great non-PC police show all on his own

Whats your theory on what its all about?

My GF and I think it something to do with Gene but we're not sure what. To help him in some way? I wondered if its Gene that knocked him down but how old would he be now?

Going to be a fast hour next week putting it all together.

Last nights ending was indeed good but the funniest episode so far had to be the swingers party episode where DCI Gene Hunt turns up late with a prostitute and Sam says "she's a prostitute" to be answered by DCI GH "I'm not going to bring my own Mrs am I?".

Best thing from the BBC in years, and most original program on TV in years also.

I penned that theory too. Gene hunt ran sam over whilst driving drunk thus causing his coma. There seems to be increasing focus on Gene's drinking habits.

I hope it will not be as simple as that though LOL.

Sadly, the US networks have bought the concept and will no doubt completely "F**k it up"

The CD of music from the series is very good too!

Yer, well it didn't help that some 'person' !! told me that last night's episode was the last in the series, and it only became patently obvious it wasn't right at the end. I'll kill him !

Brilliant series and for once makes the licence fee worth paying.

Who'd have thought they'd get away with half the dialogue to in this world of PC madness, respect

Glad they are ending it TBH. Dragging it on would have taken away from what a great series it has been - don't want it ending up like another LOST lemon.

A 70s TV cop spin off might work well though
