Default Dr Who

Well, what did you think? Loved the evil stig guys, very sinister New birds quite tasty, and stories are as strong as they've always been for a 40 minute slot. Great start to the new series. Family viewing is back on saturday nights

Confused though - (and this might sound a little bit nerdy!!)

New Martha

And isn't the Torchwood CYberwoman the same person??

Might be wrong though.

Good episode though!

yes, she had a bit part in the last series and the directors were impressed so gave her an audition for the companion role.

Freema Agyeman never played the Cyberwoman in Torchwood. It was the girl in the link below.

Clicky

All makes sense now

Yup, it was good stuff.

Nice to see they didn't throw away too much of the budget on the "Stig" look-a-likes !!

Have had to save it to 'screen' it for a 6yr old nephew who's staying - would he have a sleepless night? Scary ep? [What about me too].

Shame they didnt run it on BBC HD channel at the same time - like they do with Torchwood.

He loved it [as much as me - ooh that Martha!] but the cushion will take time to regain its natural shape

Well it was certainly scarey enough for a six year old Andythejock to hide behind the settee. I still have nightmares about a giant hedge chasing Tom Baker !!

New series still going strong
As an aside, we went to the museum of science and industry on sunday to see the new Dr Who display. Excellent stuff! Getting up close to all the props and models from all of the new series was brilliant, and the kids loved it. If you're going before this current run finishes, get a season pass, and then you can get in free next time when all this seasons props and monsters are added

Its feckin CRAP.... compared to what it SHOULD BE

Its all 'a bit of a laugh' really.... Dr Who skipping through time, never really in fear of his life (or ours), always coming out with a timely quirk

BUT THE OLD DR's....

Well they we're REAL, the end was nigh, men we're killed (and killed PROPERLY, not "urrgh I'm dead")... the Earth was doomed week after feckin week!!!

The new ones OK and as a previous poster said... "My 3 & 6 yr olds watch it and they haven't had nightmares".... Well let me tell you... That's WHY this series is poo.... because they feckin SHOULD HAVE!!

Almost sure one of the workmen one top of the Empire State building was one of the Bros brothers.

The face of Bo said there was another timelord and some speculated that it was a Dalek but there are 3/4 alive. So who is this other timelord.

LITTLE SPOILER

IF the rumours are true, the actor who MIGHT be "The Master" has recently had a life on another planet.

Yes, it's John Sims of Sam Tyler fame

Still haven't watched the last Life on Mars, don't spoil it for me!
