Previous owners and the trail of sh1te they leave...
After opening a another letter from a debt collection ageny in a previous owners name, I sent them this. Roll on Monday morning

Dear Pond Life,
I am writing to inform you that the owner of vehicle ********* no longer resides at this address. I purchased the house from a private seller after blah blah/blah blah, or whatever he/they called himself had long since 'done a bunk'. I have lived here for what.....4-5 years?...I'm not bothered to start going to check my old mortgage agreements for your sake.
I have informed the police, as I still get parking tickets for this idiot. Nothing seems to have been done, every day I get all his junk mail. I even get letters and Xmas cards from his friends, make of that what you will.
Should you wish to discuss this I can be contacted on ***** *** ***, and will happilly talk you through what I know of this person.
Should you wish to send any of your meatheads round, they will be met with the contempt they deserve. I cannot stress this point strongly enough, I have now had what is affectionatley known as a titfull of this previous owner, and the legacy of junk mail/parking fines/debt collection he has left me. DO NOT attempt ANY correspondence in person, thank you please.
I called your company, and the automated answer says I can send proof of residence from a certain date by doing this, posting/faxing that, etc, etc...I'm sorry, but it's not my problem, I haven't got the time, or inclination to do your work for you.
Please call for closure.

lol thats a cracking letter .
blunt and to the point with out being too rude .
if you have lived there for 4 years i would have just binned it .

So another letter drops through the door this morning, marked URGENT.
Gets on the blower....
Quotes refernece number....
Explains to pond life operative that I have emailed them regarding this matter..
Gets put on hold...
PLO returns after 5 mins, explains they enjoyed the email very much, and will now remove my address from the file.
So I'll expect another letter in about a week or so...useless!!
