Angry Anybody dealt with Gear Zone (outdoor clothing) ?

Hi'
As above, I would like to know if anybody has actually managed to speak to anyone there !, there is no phone number on the web site, and the number I have found on Yell.com just rings, and obviously they ain't answering my e-mails.

If anyone has a phone number that will actually get picked up that would be great.

Thanks

Ian

this most awful customer service IMHO

really gets my goat - price is pretty good. you order get a out of stock 14 day lead time. 10 days later, email stating supplier cant prodvide, suggest this a replacement. yes you say, out of stock they say 14 day lead time.

it's like the online retail version of ground hogg day. just got bored in the end... not really the weather now for a north face fleece

Hopeless !, they even rang my wife and told her the coat was out of stock at the manufacturer and that they would not be getting anymore until Autumn 2007, we the assumed wrongly that they would be refunding the money they had taken !, obviously we should have just waited for about another 6 months for them to fulfill the order !!,
What I find infuriating with these online retailers is that they show items in stock !! which they probably know full well they are not!.

So word of caution don't order from Gear Zone !!, oh and don't try and ring them as they don't answer the phone either !

Same here, ordered a north face vest for the gf and it was almost 4 weeks before I received the out of stock notice.

I had chased this a few times but was fobbed off so often I gave up and cancelled my order.

That took 2 weeks to get my money back (at least I did get it back).

Ordered a load of stuff from there that was "in stock" on the website, not long before Christmas because I was off to Thailand...)
One item they cancelled themselves and said suppliers had stopped making it.
One item I cancelled when they came back with "it's being made to order and sent direct from manufacturer".
One item I got without problem.
All correspondence done by email.
Outstanding money was returned back to my account fairly quickly..

Although a very big pain in the ***, as I had counted on the stuff arriving before I left the Uk. they did sort it all out in the end and I came away without financial loss.
Just left things a bit tight to get the stuff elsewhere.
