dry skin problem
i have VERY dry flaky skin, on the right hand (not palm) on fingers and around knuckles.
not much on left hand only slight.
any thing to deter it, i'm not too keen on using creams, i don't know why maybe cos i don't want to depend on them for the rest of my life

i have bad skin on my hands which is often a result of washing my car too much! the soap dries my skin out so i now wear gloves, and just a little nivea cream in the morning if it feels dry

I had really bad skin cracks and and callouses on my fingers, especially during winter. Found the only way to treat them was Neutragena hand cream.
And I recommend to wear gloves when working on cars because I'm 100% sure that's what caused it (calloused only on thumb and forefinger in the places where I used to turn bolts)

A vote for Clarins over here, true its a bit Metrosexual but if being a bloke simply being Neanderthal with bad skin then count me out, I will be a Neanderthal with nice smooth skin that doesnt itch or flake.
My missus got me onto it, expensive habit at 20 quid a go, the Nivea stuff smells like lard in comparison.
Right, I am off down Canal Street anyone coming.....

I actually use nivea stuff on my hands when needed. I mountain bike in all weathers which I dont think helps and I once washed some dishes in 1998...
It's fun to stay at the Y M C A

my hands get moisturised about 4/5 times a day TBH
anything less and the skin dries out, and starts to crack and bleed

E45 is brilliant. Keep away from any "perfumed" moisturisers. Have been using E45 for a couple of years, I was invloved in a RTA and suffered from 45% burns. Have been using E45 since with no complaints.
