Red face

Does anyone know if there is a way to permanently stop the stupid red button appearing on screen? As it re-appears after EVERY BL**DY commercial break, it now means if you record a program the stupid thing is there in the corner of the screen.

I am not mentally chllanged so don't need to be reminded every 5 minutes that Sky offers interactive programming!!!

I know this sounds petty, but its the little things mounting up that send people over the edge

Thumbs up

Rob,

I find that if you press the Backup button when it appears, you don't get it any longer on that channel.

However, as soon as you change channels it will appear again and all you need to do is just press Backup again!

I was aware of that Scott, but thank you for your input

What I want to know is if its possible to stop the bas***d thing ever coming back again? It drives me mad having to keep pressing backup and then there's the problem I've mentioned before that if you video anything you're stuck with it unless you set up some kind of see-saw that will keep pressing backup in your absence!

All the injustice in the world and its this that riles me. Sad isn't it?

Edited for smilies failure

Wink

Oh well, it was worth a try!

I've been through all the menu options under the config section, and as far as I can see there is no other way. It looks as though we just have to suffer....

They get on my t1ts too. I have a rear projection and don't like the idea of bright objects sitting on the screen for hours upon end burning onto them!

Really should be able to turn off the 'spam' settings.....

Cheers,

Nick
