Cat Litter's usually a good way of soaking up the oil.

Concrete (powder). Just don't get it wet. Apply liberally, leave an hour or two, sweep off. Or cat litter.

Another vote for cement powder here

My method different though - put shed loads of it all over the stain, make sure it can't get wet from above and then leave for 48hrs or so. Sweep off and all should be well

Leaving it for a few hours will work on a recent stain, but something that has been leaking for a few days requires more time in my experience.

I always use sea birds; any will do - puffins, gulls etc. soak it all up fine.

When the bird is 'full' then just get the RSPB in to clean it off for you and it's ready for the next lot.

I used to have some special pathway detergent for this, think I got it from Wilko. Worth a try.

There is a special preparation, can't remember its name except that it was known as Chicken S**t in the garage trade.
