he must have had the spoiler down going for the top speed?
Looks like it has been modded with a parachute braking system...can't have it wired up yet?

Why did it make you smile?
Someone crashes a car you'll never be able to afford, and all you can do is smile about it.
Bet if you crash your car and some idiot starts smiling or laughing at you, you might think differently.

The guy is plainly an absolute **** that doesn't know how to drive in an appropriate manner for the conditions. Just goes to show what kind of ******* actually drive these cars.

Will that stand up in court with no physical evidence at what speed he was doing??? with a good solicitor eye witness will be discredited

Bit much calling him a **** when you don't know what happened. He could have swerved for some kid that ran out in the road for all we know.

Last Sunday BBC World repeated some of the Top Gear Challenges, including buying an Italian supercar for less than £10k. Clarkson's Merak failed to get him to the lap-dancing club in Slough, blowing the engine in spectacular style and forcing him to steer off road into a hedge. PMSL at his comment "I had hoped to spend the night in a different kind of hedge

BBC claim he was doing over a 100mph? so lets not be to easy on the guy. Lets say that was your baby in the car. And If i was the owner I would have a speed log devive fitted to ensure speed etc is sent via GPS/phone etc for peace of mind. Then a quick call to the renter to advice them that unless they start to drive in a legal manner the car will be immobilized.
Just because they can afford £20k to rent acar for the day does not give them the right to drive badly.
