Ebay - anyone bought from China?
My son is interested in this..
eBay.co.uk: Muscle Power 99 (SP), badminton racquet, racket, (item 120090222208 end time 04-Mar-07 18:07:50 GMT)
(Item number 120090222208 in case the link gets deleted)
The guy is a power seller, feedback looks ok (few negative, lots positive) and carriage looks realistic.
Often looked at the stuff from China but always avoided as suspect- but I've nothing to back up this suspicion.
Just wondering of the chance that this'll arrive if we go for it - using Paypal.

I've bought some pendants from a guy in China via eBay..
All arrived except one was obviously damaged - didn't think there would be a hope in hell of getting either a refund or exchange, but the guy ws really helpful and an exchange plus an additional pendant were mailed to me really quickly..
I guess its the same with all things on eBay - there is always an element of risk but sometimes people can surprise you

Cheers guys, will probably give it a go.
£20 for the racquet, £20 for carriage and they're £90 in the shops here. Even if we get stung by customs it'll still be a good buy.

Dunno but try these, I bought one from them recently, a Carlton Powerblade pro RRP £150, 73% Discount so paid £40 and it's a belter.

I won two ebay auctions on the same day : one was based in China, the other in Manchester. The stuff from China arrived in 6 days, and the stuff from Manchester took 3 weeks.

Lot of fakes coming out of China, real good quality as well, hard to tell from the real thing so beware.
I do doubt if any goods bought there are the real thing - their fakes are bloody good and, in some cases maybe as well made.
I had a look at trainers for instance, looked identical in every way
Chances of getting your money back if there is a problem - slim!
COPIES
Also a lot of poor quality copies, came across this in Dubai. There is a place called the Dragon Market which has around 2000 small shops selling kit from places like China, Poor copies of Honda XL125's - not honda badged but look ok but not built to last or as well as a Honda. same for quads, audio kit. Non badged as the real thing but obviulsy based on them. mostly 50-70% cheaper than the real thing.
China has a cheap workforce and the ability to copy stuff and thats what a lot are up to
