Having watched the video two things stand out...
One it is that you should NEVER do any form of motorsports with a handheld camera and no proper marshalled event would allow it.
If the car was doing 180mph when the bird was hit it must have awesome brakes as it is going very slowly a few seconds later. Having done this around this speed in a Scoob you have to brake very hard to get it slow down to sensible cruising speeds.

Car was doing no way near 180mph. Just look at the lines i the middle of the road at the start of the run, he's passing them hardly any faster then than when he hit the bird.

If he had a CockLink I'm sure it would have warned him that he was about to get DET!!
The bird is the innocent party here .................. 2 minutes silence please ..
Who still says speed does NOT kill??? !!!

Right - I've got the pic, but I can't post it at the moment as photobucket is down + I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to Scoobycity

Any of you into bike racing and has seen 500cc, Moto GP, WSB etc. from Phillip island over the years will have seen numerous seagulls splatted at 180 mph +.
I have seen fairings obliterated, riders pulling intopit lane with bits of bird all over the bike, and standing on the rostrum with leathers absolutely covered in blood and guts.

Here you go - a picture from outside the car..
I don't honestly know how quickly he was going along that runway - but the sense of speed along there is extremely diminished; I can remember going along that same runway about 9 years ago in an Elise and was quiet disappointed how slow it seemed.
Nice to see that the bird sh*t itself when it realised it was going to die horribly.
