LandLady/Tenant Agreement Advice
If you have read my last post you will know i had a little problem getting into my boiler lately due to my key being "lost" but with a night to think over it the last person who had my boiler key was the landlady who mustn't have put it back and lives in England so i have no real way of contacting her. Now because of this I have had to pay for a locksmith £25 quid to open 'er up. Only to find that my boiler is completely screwed! I had to get a engineer out to have a look at it which was another £25 quid(MATE RATE) only to find it was knackered and needs a service ASAP as the last time it was serviced was 2002!!!
Now what gets my goat is that my landlady allegedly got it serviced just before christmas which i have been informed is a blantant lie as no one has touch it in years. so should it be up to me to fork out all this money or is it up to the landlady? I'm actually that ****ed off (and cold) that i'm considering to tell her to shove her house were the sun dont shine. so your thoughts will probably help in which actions I take!

Where is the house?
You should have a copy of the Gas and Electrical check certificate as already mentioned. This has to be done yearly.
Have you tried other forums for advice like the "singingpig" and "moneysavingexpert" ?
The law is on your side so don't take any ****.
