Question

My girlfriend's thinking of getting a flat in Reading, but as neither of us know the area well, just wondered if anyone can recommend a decent solicitor for when she needs one?

Cheers all,
Steve

The Head Partnership in Earley. I provide their systems for them and know them well in there. Nice, professional people working there, who do a fair bit of conveyancing, if memory serves. Tell them that Nick from MSS sent you and you might get a discount, as the Main Bosses love me!

Cheers,

Nick

I can heartily recommend Kite Griffin in Bracknell. Ask for Lorraine McLeod, she handled my house purchase last week and was absolutely outstanding all through, even finding things out about a previous house that we were going to buy that werwe showstoppers.

Kite Griffin are on 01344 425637.

Likewise for me, I can recommend a very good paralegal in Heynor, Derbyshire. She has done 5 sales/purchases for myself & the wife.

Solicitor doesn't have to be in the area you are buying and estate agents quite often recommend finding one far away as prices are better (£650 standard fee)

I'd stick with the Head Partnership. I've used loads of solicitors over the years and they are helpful, efficient and they use e-mail!!!
