Ban on public photography?
We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Stop proposed restrictions regarding photography in public places.
Saw this on another forum that i go on.
Don't know if it's BS or a sial or just another way for the government to waste their time and our money

That's very interesting and a bit scary too, particularly the bit about Ken Livingstone. It's a sad reflection on society I'm afraid.
There was a case back in Melbourne, Australia, where pictures of a high school rowing team ended up on a gay **** site (just faces) so it's easy to understand concerned adults.
It's been quite common for police to stop and question photographers gathered at Heathrow airport, but I believe they've turned this into a positive thing in that they get them to look out for anything suspicious.

OMG what is the world coming too? Snap away FFS... Despite the fact these petitions are a folley, I'll sign this one anyway... How will holiday makers cope? Will I have to apply for a license before I go out on a day trip to the Lakes? Will Alton Towers need to ask my permission before they snap my cacking my pants mid drop on a roller coaster?
Rather than the government looking for little tossy bits of legislation to tweak (as if theyre all bored) why dont they throw this resource into fixinf evereything they've messed up in this country over the last 10 years

Does this ban on public photography mean that it is illegal for speed cameras to take photos now as they are in public places.
Also is it possible to get a court order that makes it illegal for anyone to take your photo without your permission? if so you could have a field day with speed cameras
