Was good to see Audley get smashed to the canvas. Although I suspect it was a a bit of luck involved as the guy wasn't actually looking when he threw the missile.

They felt the quake in Outer Mongolis when he hit the deck....... the wuss.

It was indeed a good bout and I was saying to my wife how it reminded me of Benn Vs Mclennan 12 years ago when Benn was mashed to a pulp in round 1 and then came back to win in round 10 and just wouldn't give up. Then after the fights last night they announced it's 12 years ago next week since the Benn fight and that he's going to meet Mclennan for the first time since at a charity dinner. Also shocked to hear Benn had attempted suicide...he was my hero when in my early 20's...

It was hilarious when he appeared on They think it's all over. Audley got up and was sort of attempting to spar with Nick Hancock who remarked 'it'll be hardest feckin' fight you've had'

Dont understand how you can say it was boring and why people jeered him is beyond me.

The guy was a quality opponent, best in his country-had a never been stopped that quickly before and had a good record. Amir can only fight his fight. Why is it boring that Amir picked off the guy with one hell of a shot and just proved that he was in a higher class.

In my opinion a first round k.o. is way more exciting than watching a 12 rounder where the fighters dont engage and simply turn up for their paycheques.
