I was having a good chin wag with our hairdresser (very shagable by the way) and she was telling me that some young couple she knows of through a friend that the boy friend broke the babys legs, the baby is 14weeks old, and now the parents of the mum has custidy of the baby now, the boy friend is waiting court but the girlfriend is still with him, and they were abit younger than were are, im a youngist parent, i was 21 and my wife was 19, whats your thoughts on young parents. But it was makeing me think about young parents with that young mum panicked and put the baby in a wheelie bin and my sister in law didnt even know how to make up the bottle mik for the baby so the baby wasnt even getting fed the proper mixed milk and they were also young.

If a woman is old enough to give birth she is old enough to feed a baby properly. Those wobbly bits at the front with pink buttons on them don't need any mixing and are ready 24x7.

******* well-said! Our little lad was fed with the paps and he's been amazingly free of general illness in all his 8 years.

It's surprising how many people on low incomes don't breast feed! It's free and on tap all the time. When I had mine, she was breast fed and when I stopped, I couldn't believe the price of baby milk!

They still found the money to buy **** and booze no doubt!

Our little one lost weight in the first two weeks and was crying all the time. Not enough produced naturally. We switched to breast+bottle, she's now fantastic.

I had this discussion before - just because your experience was perfect, please don't assume everyone else has to be. thanks.

That's because there is a correlation between income and brain power.

To answer the OP, it depends how "young" the parents are and whether it is just a **** and accidental pregnancy, or whether the couple are actually happy together and decide to have a baby.

I was 18 and so was my partner when we had our daughter, we are both 24 now and daughter is 6, we have been together all the time and I would not change anything for the world.

Decided not to have any more children until my daughter was settled in school and we plan to have another child later this year.

This thread starts off a bit Vicky Pollard, goes a bit Trisha, then a bit serious and now its Beavis and Butthead.
