I did, well worth £6. better than spending £29.99 for 12 re roses at the flower shop 7 doors down!! lol

I waited until 6.00pm tonight to grab a bargain card!!
Told the Mrs i bought it yesterday but i left the reduced price tag on!!
It went down quite badly!!
Had to romance myself!!

bet you wouldnt think twice about buying flowers for no reason other than you love her. people need an excuse!! Imagine just how special they feel when you buy them tesco flowers once a year. No wonder I am able to **** so many girls in boring relationships. you guys make it so easy !

Yep a £6 bunch and I felt great about Tesco's showing those greedy flower shops and the like artificially inflating the price of flowers on days like this, lets hope this is one area where their monopoly will bring some reality to other retailers.

Nope - no flowers today - same as it has been for many years, but tesco flowers are a good buy always and it is good they do not put them up to rip off prices - I buy flowers from tesco or whereever they look good throughout the rest of the year - no need to join the herd on the 14th Feb.
Had to laugh, went to tesco last night for other bits and saw all the blokes looking for the cards at the last minute !

It's the thought that counts, not what you spend, or where you get it from, unless your other half is greedy, selfish and completely unappreciative.
Florists charge the earth - even more on valentines day, and tbh the standard can be much poorer than a £6 bunch from Tesco.

true ..Love has no finacial value (well it does when you get divorced !)
But the way its "sold" to the public is mad. Most guys these days dont know what romance is. They have never written a letter to a girlfriend etc. Its all "text chat " One girl I worked with reccons its the only time her husband buys her flowers and Knickers. What do these guys think women want ??
No wonder couples are so insecure etc and cheating on each other.
I can do the old "Show attention" trick on a woman and it really works !!
not the silly office games guys try. Just simple and calm moments of attention that make them feel "wanted".
Guys should give up Valentines and try buying flowers because "they" want to rather than 'society" has forced them
